Description
Alike has been designed and developed in Paris by Douglas Cabel and Louis Manuel Sanchez. This is a captation and display apparatus allowing spectators to choose the point of view within a scene.Thus the pieces of work released explore the new artistic possibilities offered by interactive digital screens, they shake up spectators position and introduce a new narration.

Screenart, Interactive photography installation. Digital photography on screen.
First element of a serie on couple's theme.
It's aming at shaking up static photographic frame and doing so questionning the traditional passive behavior of the watcher. This work subverts the easy voyeuristic position of the spectator: it allows a 180° look within the scene letting the watcher think he owns it as an object. Nevertheless the woman gazing reminds that this attempt has failed.
Moreover, this piece shows how interactive photography and screen art can call upon spectators and explore new narrative possibilities. - CREDITS
