-- As an architect, I have always been haunted by a theme of religious buildings and structures And all the process of the appearance of an object is interesting: the project, gathering of donations, volunteer recruitment, building and, at last, a sense of peace in chapel. At "the Island" exhibition in St.-Petersburg there occured an opportunity to realize this idea, and in miniature to simulate all components of the appearance of a chapel. Going to take old things to the church, many people bag clothes and it gathers dust in closets for years. We have collected this rags and have filled in the walls-jars, having built a place human with-presence and at the same time off the outer world which through lenses of the jars seems to be less real than a meditative interior of a chapel.
