Description
Taking the form of painting, 3D installation, and performance, my project is not merely a showcase but an expedition of understanding existence. The artistic experiment aims to look into the possibility to capture the very essence of being as well as the state of mind to interact with the mysterious subconscious.
During the performance, I, the creator, become the artwork. Each touch, each expression is the genuine engagement with my inner self. As instinctive movement leads the mind into a trance, self can no longer be distinguished from life and art. The diverse thoughts and emotions of the audience contribute to the energy of transformation as well. In the end, the dynamic among artist, spectators, and art will lead to an unpredicted result.
The organically exhibition reveals a glimpse of the unique relationship of life, art, and, self. The trinity is inseparable. Art transcends through self while life is awakening self. Self creates art while art is expressing life. Life inspires art while self is living life. The connection is ever growing. In time, ART will merge with SELF and gracefully flows through LIFE.
